Recently I was wonering wheter the popular Chat GPT can solve a simple challenge, part of an IQ test and the results were a bit shocking.

Here is the question I asked Chat GPT:

Which number logically follows this series?

7 9 5 11 ;  4 15 12 7 ; 13 8 11 ?

I was a bit surprised from the answer because I knew the answer.

The correct answer is 10 , so the numbers will look like this :

The correct Answer

To solve the puzzle one should think “outside the box”, something that Chat GPT fails to deliver quite often in my opinion, still.

Yet, the future will tell best whether AI will get smarter and better.

In fact, I think the latter is just a matter of time.
