What are all things that always attract us to the other sex?
Undoubtedly, in Great Britain, there a significant number of researchers on human beauty.
It is enough to mention the Laboratory of Perception, the most important centre for studies on aesthetics and beauty globally.
This laboratory recently completed research that examined almost 10,000 people from 30 different cultures around the world, in which it was tried to find out what is most pleasant to us in the opposite sex.
Let’s look at the results.
Historically, it has always been said that women favour choosing their partners based on financial means and prefer to leave physical attractiveness in the background to provide themselves with economic resources.
At the same time, men tend to exchange this economic capital for physical beauty.
The concern of women for socioeconomic status and the accent of men for physical and visual attractiveness was taken for granted.
But times have changed, and women’s economic independence has brought innovations in the priorities of the female sex.
For example, the latest scientific studies have shown that women of reproductive age (approximately up to 40 years) mainly seek physical attractiveness in men.
The results
The research, as we said, covered about 10 thousand people. We must consider that most of the respondents were students from different universities around the world.
It is essential to clarify this point since, in general, the university student has a socioeconomic level higher than the average of the society in which he lives.
Perhaps that is why we will see that the economic level is not so important in this list, especially for men.

Conclusion
To finish saying that there is an aphorism that says “the beauty is in the eyes of the beholder,” which means that different individuals have different prototypes of attractiveness and that not all people agree on who is handsome and who is not.
On the other hand, “the beautiful” does not always fit what it “attracts”.
They are two different conditions, which does not mean that the capacity of the beautiful as a precursor of the attractive is dismissed.
